Piano Roll

FL Studio's Piano roll has the well deserved reputation as the best Piano roll in the business. The Piano roll is used to send note and automation data to plugin instruments (sequencing). It includes a wide range of tools to aid complex score editing and manipulation.

Gopher - Significantly improved ability to generate Piano roll Scripts. Just ask questions like - "Create a Piano roll script to transpose every second note under the control of a knob" and paste the result in a new .pyscript file under...DocumentsImage-LineFl StudioSettingsPiano roll scripts.
Communications Panel - All Tabs (News, Downloads, Notifications, Help and Gopher) are now resizable.
Keyboard Shortcuts - Mute only Channels visible in the Channel Rack when using the top-row number keys (above the letters).
Loading Projects - Samples are loaded in multiple threads while opening a project, improving load times.
General settings - 'Disable plugin keyboard focus by default' option in the Miscellaneous panel to disable plugin keyboard focus by default and 'Limit the number of open plugin editors' to 25. Avoids issues with excessive Cpu usage when more than 25 plugin editors are open in the background.
Tools Menu - Many items from Tools (menu) > Macros are now also available in the menu of the related feature or window.
Vst Support - Improved compatibility with projects where a Vst3 version of a plugin replaces a Vst2. More parameters will now load correctly where there were issues.
Midi Scripting - Added support for 'fill each n steps'.
Fl Studio Remote - Layouts can now be associated with Fl Studio projects.
